Habit of Urban [H.O.U. Fashion (Canada) Limited] is a privately owned company since 2009, serving both the international and local Vancouver fashion scene.

The company is managed by our Creative Director and Lead Designer, Maggie Hou. Maggie is a local Vancouver designer with an international following. She is a graduate of Emily Carr University of Art + Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She also holds a Masters in Fashion Design from Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Maggie has received numerous recognition both locally and internationally, including the coveted title of being named one of the “Top 10 New Hong Kong Collection Award” in 2008.

As a privately held company, we strongly believe in building mutually beneficial relationships within the local economy. Since its start, Habit of Urban has been proud to support local events in various ways.
